Designer Jewelry

The Designer Jewelry program provides the knowledge necessary for personalizing jewelry projects, providing creative contributions to designs and expanding the concepts of a design and its functional and aesthetic values.

It also teaches students how to handle the artistic and technical problems that may arise during the creation process and how to keep up with innovations and new proposals in the fields of design and art.

The field of designer jewelry involves, among other things, creating unique pieces of designer jewelry, designing reproducible jewelry pieces and studying the prototype of the reproduction and manufacturing system, using drawing techniques to sketch designs, making mockups of the pieces as part of the project’s study phase, and determining the technical procedure for serial manufacture and studying its cost.
