There is no need to take a test if you hold a Certificate of Advanced Vocational Training in Fine Arts and Design or an equivalent Vocational Training Diploma.
Prospective students must either:
Hold the equivalent of a batxillerat, that is, have completed Advanced Level (A-Level) Secondary Education or hold a High School Diploma or equivalent;
Pass the admissions test for individuals who are 19 or older, or will turn 19 during the calendar year in which the test is taken, OR;
Pass the university admissions test for individuals who are 25 or older.
In all three cases, prospective students must also pass an admissions test specific to the studies sought.
The conditions for admission and enrolment are established by the Catalan Government’s Department of Education every academic year and published in the Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia (Diari Oficial de la Generalitat de Catalunya – DOGC).
Prospective students’ final qualifications on the admissions test will be the weighted average between Part A (which will count for 40% of the total) and Part B (which will count for 60% of the total). To pass the test you must pass both parts.
