This Lithography Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) connects the volcanic landscape of Olot with the artistic legacy of Joan Miró through the practice of lithography.

On the one hand, students will explore the natural environment of the Garrotxa region and its strong visual identity. On the other, they will study the work of Joan Miró—one of the most important former students of Escola Llotja—who extensively explored lithography throughout his career, experimenting with colour, abstraction, and poetic imagery.

Inspired by this dual context, participants will reinterpret either the landscapes of Olot or selected works by Miró using lithographic techniques. This creative process will take place in an intensive workshop led by the artist Raquel Ro.

The programme combines cultural visits, teamwork, and hands-on printmaking practice, encouraging artistic exchange and collaboration between students from different countries.
