Workshop designed to explore the interplay between space and form in the architectural and sculptural practices of renowned figures and Llotja alumni such as Antoni Gaudí or contemporary arquitects as Josep Maria Jujol.
The tentative plan is to use wicker or rattan to develop a variety of spatial proposals.
These sessions will offer a unique opportunity to investigate artistic and architectural spatial link. Participants will have the chance to analyze significant sites, including Park Güell, La Pedrera, or other buidings, facilitating an appreciation for the contextual influences on spatial design. We will also highlit the role of the sculpture in this spaces.
Each student will be encouraged to develop a unique proposal reflecting their interpretation of spatial dynamics, which will culminate in an exhibition at “La Comella Forest” in Tarragona. This exhibition will showcase the students’ works, providing a platform for critical engagement and public presentation. The workshop is scheduled to take place at Campus Llotja Sant Andreu.
